Made by our family
We buy hand block printed cotton from printers in Rajasthan. At home, our family cuts and stitches every piece, and our grandmother finishes each one by sewing on the buttons by hand.
Our name
Strength, memory, patience. The name honours Matanga Muni, the ancient music scholar who wrote the Brihaddeshi, and Matanga Rishi, whose hermitage sheltered Shabari in the Ramayana.
We are a small family workshop in India, making things the slow way.

Go by your child's height: 1-2 years is about 90 cm, 3-4 years about 100 cm, 5-6 years about 110 cm, 7-8 years about 120 cm and 9-10 years 130-140 cm. Between sizes? Choose the bigger one.
Message us within 7 days of delivery for a size exchange or return. Items must be unused and unwashed, with tags. Read the refund policy.
Hand wash separately in cold water (max 30°C). Do not bleach or tumble dry. Iron on medium heat.
Yes, we ship worldwide with tracking. International shipping is ₹1,800 per order and free on orders of ₹5,000 or more. Delivery usually takes 10-15 working days.
